Serbian filmmaker, actor and musician Emir Kusturica, along with his group The No Smoking Orchestra, transform the Poble Espanyol Hivernacle into a big Balkan party, as they perform tracks from their new album along with some of the most magical moments of Kusturica's filmography, like 'Black Cat, White Cat' and 'Life Is a Miracle'. The onstage result: the good kind of madness and unbridled fun to the sounds of country rhythms, Turkish marches, gypsy trumpets, Italian classics, South American beats, techno-pop loops, Balkan tunes with punk bases, gypsy tradition. Emir Kusturica is one of the most influential movie maker from Balkans. Once in the 80ﾃつｴs he joined a band called No Smoking Orchestra. He made one record with them then left. Later the band split into two parts.

One part stayed in Bosnia and one left for Belgrade. While working on his movies he asked the Belgrade version to do the music for it and since they lacked a bass player he jumped in.
